Yang/Yin is a combination of Vinyasa and Yin, a class that mixes movement and breath with longer held seated or lying poses.  Some instructors will begin with Sun Salutations, then move through standing poses, finishing with long-held Yin poses to end the class.  Other instructors will weave long-held Yin poses into their standing sequence to slow down, allow the body to settle into each Yin pose, then move more.

This is a great place to start a Vinyasa practice, or a nice way to try some Yin poses if you’re new to that type of yoga!
