She was first introduced to yoga when she lived in Cairo, Egypt with her sister. Thirteen years have since passed. In that time, yoga came and went, but it has established itself as a regular fixture and practice the last five years for her.

Rebecca’s area of specialty is Ashtanga yoga.  She completed a nine-month intensive training in Byron Bay, Australia with her teacher, Dena Kingsberg.  Since then, she has made regular journeys back to Australia to continue her mentorship under Dena’s watchful eye.

When not on her mat, other areas of interest include most activities that involve the outdoors, recently completing a 54-km trail race in Kimberley, BC.  Rebecca spends her days in her career as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, most recently in the role of Manager, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, JPCH.
