We'll make yoga and mindfulness fun for kids!
- There will be specific classes on the schedule for kids in three separate age categories;
Yogi Cubs – Ages 4-6
- Monday 4:45pm (30 minutes)
- Friday 4:45pm (30 minutes)
Kids Yogi Cubs (ages 4-6)
This class starts with a breathing and mindfulness practice. Each week the class has a theme, this theme will be used as a guide as each Cub learns and practices poses, often leading up to a yoga adventure or games! Each class has a mix of balance, strength and flexibility poses done in fun and creative ways, finishing with relaxation time where the Cubs learn to relax their bodies & minds.
Yogi Bears – Ages 7-12
- Monday 5:30pm – (45 minutes)
- Friday 5:30pm – (45 minutes)
Kids Yogi Bears (ages 7-12)
This class starts with breathing and mindfulness exercises. We then begin moving into a warm up flow sequence, followed by specific poses that are inspired by the theme of the week. Classes may often incorporate games & partner poses. Each class ends with guided relaxation and techniques for coping with stress or anxiety outside of the studio.
Teenagers (Ages 13-17) are welcome to join their parents, or any adult, to practice in regularly scheduled classes. Kids class passes will apply.
Our amazingly talented Katy Bloski has spent much time preparing for these classes! She will be our main Kids Yoga instructor with some of us assisting when necessary.
Parents are welcome to simply drop kids off for these classes. We won’t be allowing parents in the class, you are welcome to remain in the large reception area where you’ll find ample seating to rest while you wait for your yogis. There will be advertised opportunities to join the kids for Family Yoga and picture opportunities at different times throughout the year.
